BarrKing Hill is a 100 acre farm located south of Exeter.  We are a family run farm who’s objective is to become self-sufficient. This includes putting up a solar/wind hybrid electrical system to generate “green” power and growing our own cereal grains to feed not only our livestock, but also to use as heating fuel for the house & barn.

We currently have Highland beef, pork, chicken, rabbit & eggs available.  Our animals are raised in a humane, stress-free environment, using natural ingredients that don’t include hormones or antibiotics.  A lot of the feed they consume is grown here on our own farm without the use of pesticides or artificial fertilizers.  Our farm store, although unfinished, is open for business and we return to our local farmers’ markets when they reopen in the spring of 2011.

We have been breeding beautiful German Shepherds for the last five years.  Our German Shepherds come from champion blood lines and are bred for temperament as well as quality.  We are proud to be producing puppies that are confident and well-adjusted when they’re ready to go to their new homes.  See the “Shepherds” page for more detailed information on our dogs as well as information on current & upcoming litters.
